Q-Dog Frequently Asked Questions

Is Q-Dog real?

Yes, Q-Dog is very real and a living legend.

Is Q-Dog a dog or a human?

Nobody really knows the answer to this. When asked Q-Dog said, 'What? Oh. I prefer not to know one way or the other, that way I can always choose'. He has many of the qualities and senses of a dog but was raised by humans, as a human, and so has many human capabilities such as singing and being able to move from side to side.

Where does Q-Dog come from?

Very little is known of Q-Dog's very early years. The story as we understand it is that he was found as a baby/puppy by a security guard on the roof of Burlington House in Dover, England. The staff at Burlington House gave him shelter, food, an education and the security code for the door so that he could come and go as he willed. Why are there so many adverts for stopping dog barking?

Many, many people, including Google, associate Q-Dog with barking (and aggressive behaviour). Unfortunately, ignorance is a way of life for so many people and it's something that Q-Dog has learned to live with. Although often aggressive, Q-Dog only really barks when something spooks him; he personally believes that, 'Barking is one of the finest things a dog can do, if it's done well.'
